who is a thief?

WHO IS A THIEF?

A man once killed a fowl to prepare a meal. The man left for work and came in the afternoon. His wife was nowhere to be found. He went to the kitchen and found out that the meat was on fire. The man picked some of the meat and decided to hide with it at the bathroom. Immediately he entered there the wife was also hiding with some of the meat in the bathroom. They all bent their heads in shame. 

Who will be accused as a thief, the man or the woman?

Judge the case.
